The Medieval Scotland web site is a volunteer project; it is not run with any intention of making a profit. However, it does incur expenses. Below is a financial statement indicating these expenses and as well as income earned through various fundraising projects. (If income ever exceeds expenses, the excess will be used to fund further research and/or saved for use on planned web site projects, such as paying for the rights to use copyright protected images for the Historical Scottish Clothing Project.) Please consider supporting Medieval Scotland!
Note that because affiliation/association programs usually require a minimum threshold of earnings before sending payment checks, fees earned by MedievalScotland.org in one quarter may not be received until many quarters later. Below, income is reported when received, not earned.

*The programs used to generate statistics had various technical problems from at least Jan 2005, and possibly from Nov 2004, through Jul 2005 resulting in only partial counting or in some cases complete failure to count anything in some or all of these months. The hosting service resolved these issues by Aug 2005, but problems arose again sometime before Sep 2006, and finally from Sep 2006 I have had to switch completely to AwStats (and use retroactively created stats for the period Sep-Dec 2006), which counts things differently (and generally lower).
