All of these entries use the construction <surname>, <given name> except for three entries:
Cole, William ["Sea"] | 1578, p. 245 |
Humphrey, William, Jr. | 1578, p. 247 |
James, WIlliam[sic] John | 1578, p. 247 |
The first of these entries seems to indicate that "Sea" is used as this man's nickname. In the second, Jr. stands for Junior and indicates that this person is the younger of two people with the same name. The third entry appears to be an instance of a double given name, WIlliam being the first given name and John being the second.
